The gift that keeps on giving
Of course, I remember moments of connection and happiness—but back then, they felt like they depended on the outside world. Good things needed to be happening to me for me to feel good. I needed to look a certain way, have enough money, or be surrounded by friends in order to feel successful and admired.
Then I discovered the Three Principles—and it cracked me wide open.
It showed me something completely new.
I began to realise just how much of my life I had been living in thought. Overthinking. Analysing myself and everyone around me. Constantly self-monitoring. It was exhausting—and I was taking myself so seriously.
What a relief it was to let go of the judgment—of both myself and others. I can’t express how much freer I feel now.
The truth is: we are perfectly designed.
We always have been.
I spent so long striving to experience something that was already within me. It’s so incredibly simple, yet can feel so elusive. Along the way, we all pick up thoughts and beliefs—stories that we carry as if they define us. But they don’t. They never did.
When I woke up to that truth, I saw that every moment is a miracle. I understood that we are not our thoughts or feelings—they’re just transient experiences passing through.
We are so much more than any single thought.
And this deep knowing comes with the most beautiful feeling.
It’s a feeling I want to share with others. Because when we rise into truth, we rise together.
All boats rise with the tide.
